In these lessons we focus on advanced progressive surfing techniques, review your surfing style, offer advice on equipment and discuss your surfing goals.
Surfers are encouraged to bring their own equipment along so we can coach you on what you regularly use. Lessons run for 1 hour 15 mins and all equipment can be provided if needed.

Brent Symes - A.K.A Red Dog
Our School is headed up by Brent Symes. Known as 'Red Dog', Brent was professionally surfing by 16.
He is renowned for fearlessly charging the biggest waves on the biggest days. From Mavericks to Jaws, and most recently Nazaré, Red Dog continues to chase the dream of riding the biggest wave humanly possible.
As one of only a handful of Australians respected by the global big wave fraternity, Red Dog is the man to paddle out with.

24 hours notice must be provided to cancel your surf lesson.
Unfortunately no refunds can be given if, for any reason, you have to leave early while participating in a surf lesson.
Our beaches, and all beaches for that matter, are at times subject to currents, troughs, rips, shallow sandbanks and strong winds. We strongly advise you to take the time to consider these factors before you accept the Risk Warning & Waiver form and participate in a surf lesson.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone surf lessons due to poor or dangerous surf conditions.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations advised with 24 hours notice before your surf lesson are fully refundable. Cancellations inside of 24 hours of surf lesson will be charged a $30 administration Fee. Cancellations made inside 4 hours of your surf lesson will result in full amount for the lesson payable by you.
Even on rainy days, lessons will often still be held. We’re all going to get wet anyway.
Lesson times may vary as ocean conditions are constantly changing. If the lesson time needs to be changed we will contact you as early as possible to arrange a more suitable lesson time.
