Stand Up Paddle Experience
Get out on the water and learn how to stand up paddle board with the help of an experienced instructor.
Paddle boarding is a relaxing sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or experience.
Jimmys Beach at Hawks Nest is a great place to stand up paddle board. The bay is still, clear, usually warm and easy to paddle. This core fitness exercise is very low impact and helps to improve balance, coordination, strength and endurance.
You will be guided through all the key areas of the sport with experienced instructors. Lessons run for 1 hour 30 mins and all equipment is provided including paddle board, wetsuits (if required) and rash-vests.

24 hours notice must be provided to cancel your surf lesson.
Unfortunately no refunds can be given if, for any reason, you have to leave early while participating in a surf lesson.
Our beaches, and all beaches for that matter, are at times subject to currents, troughs, rips, shallow sandbanks and strong winds. We strongly advise you to take the time to consider these factors before you accept the Risk Warning & Waiver form and participate in a surf lesson.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone surf lessons due to poor or dangerous surf conditions.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations advised with 24 hours notice before your surf lesson are fully refundable. Cancellations inside of 24 hours of surf lesson will be charged a $30 administration Fee. Cancellations made inside 4 hours of your surf lesson will result in full amount for the lesson payable by you.
Even on rainy days, lessons will often still be held. We’re all going to get wet anyway.
Lesson times may vary as ocean conditions are constantly changing. If the lesson time needs to be changed we will contact you as early as possible to arrange a more suitable lesson time.
